The CMHA Communications Network brings together communications professionals from member organisations across Australia to form a connected, collaborative community of practice.

This network provides a space for those working in communications, marketing, and engagement roles to share insights, align messaging, and strengthen the voice of the community-managed mental health sector. It’s a place to learn from each other, explore best practice, and collectively lift the quality and impact of our communications across the country.

Together, members of the Communications Network:

  • Share tools, strategies, and lessons learned
  • Align on national messaging and advocacy priorities
  • Support consistent, values-driven communication
  • Strengthen the public voice of community mental health
  • Elevate the stories of lived experience and rights-based practice

By fostering open dialogue and peer support, the Communications Network plays a vital role in building a cohesive national narrative, one that reflects our shared commitment to dignity, inclusion, and reform.

Together, we amplify the voice of the sector and the communities we serve.
